Tahoe on 26 Rims

I want to put a set of 26 rims on my Tahoe and also lower it. I have questions about the 26 inch rims rubbing and such like that. Do 26 inch rims fit on a Tahoe without problems? I can find images of people doing it even being lowered so I know its possible.
