Primer Rims or Not?
Should I primer my rims or not in these used rims I just bought from a guy off Craigslist? The rims are going to be painted with oil based paint. I don’t really know about doing auto body and paint but I wont let that stop me
Should I be primering the rims if I am using an oil based paint or no? Does oil based paint need primer? Seems like to me that anything being painted needs help with adhesion when it comes to painting things. And isn’t that what primer does?

Primer or adhesion promoter. Just apply paint within 15 minutes of last non paint coat. Or go with the tried and true powder coating.
