Cut Coil Springs to Lower a Vehicle Tutorial
The first thing you want to do is figure out how you’re going to remove the striped and coil assembly from your vehicle. all makes and models of vehicles come out differently. long story short you need to get the assembly out. Once the assembly is out you want to start by decompressing the springs. We need to decompress the springs because they are compressed in the strut tower the cake compression. human power cannot decompress the springs you need the tools.

Now that the shop is separate from the strutt you can I’ll remove it. you can let the tension of the compressor tool as well. now that the spring is out of the start our weekend now figure out how were going to cut it. Do your homework on how many coils to cut out because that is how long your car is going to be.

How do you have gotten this far you need to figure out how to put the spring back in. The spring should sit in a certain peru on your mount. most strut towers have a groove that last coil sits in. Good idea is to weld the last coil all to the mount strut tower.
