iT would be hard. Exhaust pipes are filled with black film dust smog which is very dirty and leslmy. If you wore a gas mask and heavy duty gloves it may make the job easier. See your Jeep manual, it will tell you steps A-Z on how to remove it.

Start out with rare, but desireable cars. Usually motors aren't that hot of an item unless they are tuner cars or the motor is in really good shape. Body panels, interior parts, and small odds and ends would sell fast.

Any color besides white is illegal. Check into SMD lights. They are basically a small, flat panel with LEDs and you can wire it right up to your existing power source. They usually come with 3M adhesive backing for easy application.

With how your Probe is set up, the only issue should be side to side clearance and mounting them. But don't you have custom brackets already?

Go on eBay and buy a set of anodized lugs. Like 20$ or so for a full set. Or use high temp paint, that might hold up for more than a month.

Well you could paint them the same color as the car so they don't jump out at you, Like 1996 Impala SS.

Other than that if your replacement decals will span the entire area you just fill the holes with an epoxy etc. and put the decals right over it.

Well I can tell by the photo the hood has been painted before, $80.00 is a good price for the hood but that wont fix the paint unless your lucky enough to find one the same color.

What you see happening on your hood is the clear-coat was applied to thin or has been buffed to the point there is not enough material left to offer any UV protection.

Cost to repaint a hood would be approximately $300.00 with no guarantee on color match unless the adjacent panels are blended.

I don't want to critic as I see you worked hard getting this started but "Proof Reading" helps.

To answer your question, the chances are very good if your hood is damaged to the point where it wont shut properly you have more to be concerned with than aesthetics.

(1) If you still have the emblems there is a product called "Emblem Adhesive" just be aware this is very strong glue so try not to get it on any other parts of the car.

(2) The other option is to remove and re-apply the factory double sided tape but this is very time consuming.

(3) Buy new emblems, this would be the most expensive but would be the safest route.

This piece is called "Trim Ring" and if it's available on a production vehicle you will be able to get them through your local dealer.
Price would probably be $50.00 - $60.00 each.
