Gray Primer

I’m going to paint my car gray primer until I can afford paint. Do you guys think it looks ugly to drive around with just as a daily driver for a while? I don’t want people talking badly about me at my work and such.

Green Primer

I have a probe I’ve been working on and I was thinking of spraying it with green primer. It seems like you don’t see too many cars with green primer. I found this self etching green primer at my local auto store. Is self etching primer a weird way to go even though its green? What exactly is self etching green primer? Does it stop rust? I need to know what kind of primers are green?
