To remove the alternator you must remove the bolts in the hanger. Remove the bolts with an open end wrench.

A person needs to free the radiator from the car. It helps to remove the alternator. here’s an image of a ford probe west knoll radiator. I just removed the radiator so that I can change the alternator. I also plan to remove the air conditioning too.
