Cracked Body Kit Fix Bumper

Cracked Body Kit Fix Bumper %

My body kit kat crap somehow but I don’t know how. I think it was just a hit and run type a deal. I do most of the work on my car myself. so I’m also looking to fix this myself. all I did was based flea spray paint the body kit white. the car would never actually professionally painted ever.

Do you think this is repairable or should I just buy a new bumper. I would like to do ever be repairable. a new bumper for a body kit is super expensive. I know that’s a little bigger than just a crack but yeah.

I was thinking that maybe if I made a stencil of where the bumper was I could put fiberglass on it. I just need to figure out a way to fix this. Let me know if you guys think it’s worth it to fix it or first buy a new 1.

Rear Bumper Removal Guide How To

Rear Bumper Removal Guide How to %

If you need to remove your rear bumper then this is the guide for you. you need to start by finding the screws in your rear fenders. there going to be coming from underneath the bumper into the metal of the regular car. unscrew the screws in the sides of the bumpers should be loose. Then from there you need to figure out where the other screws are better holding the bumper on. a lot of times the screws are going to beat behind the tail lights. the taillights hide those screws from visibility.

So once you have removed your tail lights in the screws to the bumper, you should be able to find how to take it off. on average I would say there is around 6 – 8 screws that hold on the rear bumper. it doesn’t seem that tough but you will find out it is easier to remove the bumpers and to install.

Remove Strip Paint Rims

Remove Strip Paint Rims %

I bought a set of rims from a guy used off of the internet and his lame paint job on them is not cutting it for me. I need to strip the paint off the rims. I have tried hand sanding them. That worked somewhat like picking rocks in a field..

That’s when I thought to bring in air tools. The air dremel with a brush worked the best by far. I tried a brass wire brush but just the regular wire brushes worked best. This post consists of no question but instead advice. Don’t mess around with anything but air brushes.
