Repair Plastic Bumper Scratch Myself, How To?

The plastic bumper on my car got ran into when I want to fix it. What type of substance do auto body technician sport over scratches and plastic. I know body filler would not stand the plastic so what should I use. Or is there a way to repair plastic like I’m talking about?

Technician one –

There is a product called plastic filler. It’s basically like a body filler for metal accepted design for plastic. The stuff is a little harder to work with them just body filler but it is the same concept. If you want more information on it you should search for an auto body repair shop website.

You’re going to need some of that party and sandpaper primer in the work. Just like any basic auto body repair. Hopefully that helps you it’s somewhat hard to explain without actually seeing it.

Car Paint Job with Texture! Yay or Nay? %

This is an image of my ford probe with the texter paint job. a lot of people hate this paint job. I change the color of the paint a bunch of different times too. I’ve come up with the decision of a satin paint. this is an image of the car with white paint. the texter is a certain type of filler myxter. it is body filler bondo brand and it never exceeds 1/4 of an inch thickness. It is also directly applied to bare metal.

Remove Emblems Scratched the Paint

So I was removing my emblem from my car. I decided to take a smart decision and use a screwdriver to remove them. the screwdriver obviously doug in the my paint and scratched the heck out of it. if I could go back and change that’s cool I definitely would. I would’ve used a very sharp razor blade so that 1 scratch the paint. but now it is too late and I need to find a fix for the scratch. how does a person 6 small scratches like that. you use a buffing wheel.

Painted Rims Becoming Rusty

How does ross you through paint that easy. Could it be the quality of the paint orals not good enough prep work possibly..  I’m pretty lost on what this could be considering I lost a good set of rims to rust.

Is it worth sending the rust off in repairing these rims? I have seen some of my friends try this in the rust came back within weeks. I need to. I need to know rust will stay away at least for year. Anybody have an explanation for me?

Fix Hood Dent Myself??

My car has a dent in the hood. Now the car but does not shut properly. I want to fix my hood but I do not know how to do it. My question is, is it worth my time to do the body work on my hood or should I just buy a new hood. I know how to fix dents by myself. I use body filler and I just sent it tell it feels straight.

I asked my friend that is an auto body technician and he said it depends the style of the hood. He said if the hood is very round that it will be a lot harder for me to do myself. I personally feel that I can do it myself but he underestimate me. But I’m sure I should take his advice since he does it as a career. I have an air compressor and all auto body tools a person needs to fix it.

Maybe some of your guises o pinion well help me make my decision. Should I buy a new good. Or should I attempt to fix my other good.
