Ford Probe Subwoofer System

I’m looking for ideas on building a custom subwoofer system. I have a lot of room here in the rear of the hatch of the car. There is a ton of air for the subs to push around too.

I have been trying to figure out if I should go with a vented box or a sealed box. I went with a vented box tuned to a good sound frequency so they are as loud as possible. I want the system to be as loud as possible without huge rattling sounds.

Hide Amplifier Wires

I just bought this Mazda car and the previous owner had ran a audio subwoofer system and it sounds really good. But my problem is the wires are not hidden. Its like he was happy with just having the wires hang out freely on the carpet.

I need some ideas on how to hide the wires or else how to run car system properly under the carpet. I’m super new to all of this so I have no idea on audio details like these and so forth. I wish I knew somebody that was educated on this too but I don’t.
